So as you might know last week I flew off to Turkey with my family. I'd been once before and fell in love with it. We booked the holiday super last minute and got a an amazing deal. We did so much fun stuff, and went places I'd never seen before.
We stayed in a little town called Sarigerme, which is pretty central to everywhere we wanted to go, so that was perfect.

We flew really late and spent the first day chilling out and seeing what there was to do at our resort, but by day two we were ready to explore Sarigerme. We headed into the town for some shopping and ended up booking an excursion to Dalyan to see the turtles, the tombs and the mud baths! And that's exactly what we spent the third day doing. Let me just say if you are ever on holiday near a place that has natural mud baths, do it! Its really gross and doesn't smell all that fresh either but believe me its an experience!

On the third night there was a foam party in the town so me and my sister decided to go up and have a few drinks. We definitely did have a few drinks, so we had to spend all of day 4 relaxing by the pool. We spent all of day 5 relaxing around to resort too.
We decided that our 6th day should be a beach day as we weren't all that brown and we wanted to come back with a bit of a tan.

On day 7 it was time to pack up and head off on our second and final excursion. This time we decided to go Fethiye Market and the Blue Lagoon. The market was huge and we really couldn't be bothered to do it all as it was way too hot so we headed back to the coach to be taken to our second stop.
We were taken to an abandoned Greek town where we had lunch, and a Camel ride. That's one more thing ticked off the bucket list! Our final stop was at a beautiful beach called Blue Lagoon where we did a bit of sunbathing and hired a pedalo. Then it was back to the Hotel to wait for our ride to the airport and our plane home.
** Edit 26.06.2020 - looking back at this post I would not recommend taking animal rides in holiday destinations as I don't believe they are always well looked after **
It's not a holiday unless you eat ice cream around the pool is it?
Taking a camel ride in Kayakoy (looking back I would not recommend this)

We had such an amazing week away and I literally can't to come back and explore more of this beautiful country!
Have you been to Turkey before?

As you might know on Thursday me and Sean went to London for the day. This is what I bought when I was there, which isn't a lot really. Hopefully next time I can have a proper shopping spree on Oxford Street!
We spent the majority of the day around Camden Market which was amazing! Camden is always such a fun and vibrant place, even if it is filled with more tourists than punks now. I only picked up a few bits in Camden - a string of elephants, a gem covered pen, and a cute ring. We also had a quick mooch around the vintage shops but i didn't see anything I feel in love with this time around.
I also picked up my favourite Mascara from boots while we were in Camden as I managed to lose mine at some point in the morning and I wanted to touch my makeup up before heading over to the blog event later that evening.

After exhausting the shops in Camden we headed over to Oxford Street to have a wander around some more mainstream shops. One of the shops I was really excited to see was Primark. I know that's really boring but the London Primark on Oxford Street is absolutely huge and I knew it would be full of goodies! Here I picked up a kimono and some cheap flip flops for my holiday later in the year. Every year I buy a pair of these plain black flip flops from Primark just because they are so cheap and perfect for walking to and from the beach!
After Primark we had a wander around the other shops along Oxford Street and picked up a basic plain white blouse from Mango. I've been trying to buy more basic items lately as the majority of my wardrobe is built up of prints and patterns and nothing really matches!
Have you bought anything nice recently?
On Thursday me and Seany took a trip down to London to do some shopping. Although we had mainly gone to see the shops and spend time in Camden Market I did still hope to take more photos than I did.
Last time we went to London we only got to have a couple hours around Camden market and that really wasn't enough. This time though we made sure we got to see it all, and I'm pretty sure we did!

We spent all morning and some of the afternoon wandering through tiny winding streets. One of my favorite things about Camden is all the food stalls. If you've ever been I'm sure you will know what I mean. The market literally sells every kind of food you could ever want and I was kind of sad we ate before we got there. Although I did manage a couple of mini spring rolls and delicious KitKat milkshake. We didn't really buy all that much in Camden, we mostly just walked around getting lost and trying our best to track down a photobooth.

But don't worry I still got to spend lots of money on a little trip to Oxford Street. I'd never been to Oxford Street before, so I never realized how bloody long it is! We popped into a few shops along the road before running out of time and dedicating out last bit of shopping time to finding Primark.
I've always wanted to go to the Oxford Street Primark as everyone says how huge it is, and I wasn't disappointed. The place was massive and I really couldn't be bothered to look round all of it so I picked up and couple of things and headed off.
After Primark we decided we better start getting ready to go to the Calico event, and after topping up my make up we set off to find it. I wrote about the Calico 'Keep It Fair In What You Wear' event on my last blog post.
Where are your favourite places to go shopping in London?
Yesterday night I was invited to the Calico 'Keep It Fair In What You Wear' event in London. The event was held at the Leggera Nell'Aria Boutique and promoted Fair Trade and ethical fashion. Most of the brands were British and their products were made here too, therefore supporting our economy and workers.
Being my first blogger event I was quite nervous but everyone was really friendly and after talking to a few designers I got stuck in snapping away at the items on show. Each brand had its own space to show off its gorgeous products and there were several live models wearing some fantastic pieces.
From left Pineapple wrap, Buenas noches, the little posh dress, Bibico, Grace, Bags by Fashion compassion.
GirlWithBeads uses recycled materials to make clothing and bags. Some of their items were amazing, and I was told that no two pieces were ever the same.
One brand that really stood out to me was Grace, and not just because that's my name. The peter pan collar detail on some of their tops was beautiful, and I was lucky enough to receive one of my own in a goody bag. I was told by Jane Huppard the designer that she works with the same company who made the lace for Kate Middleton's wedding dress. For 25% off Grace clothing you can use the discount code GRACEMAY14.
All of the brands produce fantastic good quality items and promote good causes such as fair trade and recycling.
I'm so glad Calico invited me and introduced me to some amazing brands, and I just wanted to thank everyone there for putting on a lovely evening. I really enjoyed attending my first ever blog event and I cannot wait to go to more!

Okay so let me start off with saying I know it's been ages since I did a monthly favorite post but I'm going to start doing them again as of this month!
So without further ado, these are my favourite beauty products from April...
1. Barry M #351 Princess - This is such an amazing gorgeous colour. I bought it a while back but it's literally my favorite nail varnish ever. I use it as a top coat over different shades of pink and I just love it.
2. VO5 Ultimate Hold hairspray - Seany treated me to a few cans of this after my sister bought me the ultimate volume one for Christmas. It smells so good and it's not sticky like a lot of other hairsprays. It's probably the best hairspray I've ever used and one I will continue to buy.
3. No7 Skin Illuminator - This came in a pack of No7 goodies my Nan received but didn't want so kindly donated to me. I've been using it for a couple weeks now and I really like it. I use it underneath my foundation and it makes my face so sparkly. It's also hypoallergenic which doesn't matter to much to me but is handy to know if you have sensitive skin.
4. No7 High Shine Lip Crayon in Delicate Pink - This again came in the set of stuff Nan got and it is amazing! I've never had a lip crayon before but I'm already in love. It's a lot easier to apply than lipstick and this particular one is really glittery so I was bound to love it. I've already ordered more lip crayons in other colours that I can't wait to arrive!
So those were my favourite beauty products from the month of April!
Which beauty products have you been loving lately?
