I thought I'd just show you guys a few things I've bought over the last few days. I haven't made any big purchases as i'm saving my money to spend in Kavos and to book another holiday in September, so I've only bought a few bits and bobs.
One of my all time favorite films is The Virgin Suicides so I thought I'd treat myself to the film and the book. I haven't read it yet but its been on my to read list for ages now so I'm looking forward to it! I bought both from Amazon.
These beautiful carpet dolly shoes are from New Look. I don't really have a reason for buying them but hey, who needs a reason to buy new shoes?!
Watch and bracelet both from Ebay
This necklace is from New Look again. My sister bought it for me.
Now a little update. I started work on monday! Yes I got a new job and a name badge what could be better than that! Alsoooo It's my birthday tomorrow! I will be 19 but there probably won't be any partying for me as I've been pretty sick booo. I'm still excited regardless and I will do a little post on what I got.
Last thing! I'M GOING TO KAVOS IN LIKE 17 DAYS! So yeah, I've got a lot to look forward to this summer.
Thanks for reading!

Okay I know I'm a day late but here it is!
With my holiday only 3 weeks away this is my holiday wishlist. I still need a few bits now, mostly toiletries but I would love love love to add some of this to my holiday wardrobe.
My favorite thing right now is that gorgeous River Island bag but I can't quite justify £28 on a beach bag so I'm hoping it goes in the sale in the next couple of weeks! Another thing I've be dying to get my hands on is a flower garland headband. I think they are so sooo pretty and a must have for the summer, so I'll have to buy one of maybe make one sometime soon.

I love reading, it's made some of the most boring times bearable. So I wanted to share with you some of my all time favorite books and my to read list.
Firstly my favorites
The Beach - Alex Garland
The Island - Victoria Hislop
Weekend in Paris - Robyn Sisman
Out of the blue - Belinda Jones
One Day - David Nicholls
I would recommend every single one of these books as the are all fabulous reads. When I get more time I might do individual book reviews for these but right now just know these are my all time faves!
The ' To read list'
Ten minutes to fall in Love - Julia Llewellyn
Beautiful Ruins - Jess Walter
The lovely bones - Alice Sebold
The way we were - Elizabeth Noble
The Return - Victoria Hislop
I'm already halfway through 'The Return' and so far so good, but I so so sooo can't wait to read the others. As you will probably know if you've been reading my blog I'm going to Greece for a week in August and 'Beautiful Ruins' is definitely my designated beach book this year.
The books I read usually follow a similar pattern. They are either about Love or are set in a foreign country, or both.
Thanks for reading!

A while back I saw an recipe for making sweets in chocolate. It seemed simple enough and with me saving for my holiday it was a good cheap way to keep me entertained for a while. Sorry the pictures are pretty bad quality ( I promise i will get my camera fixed soon!) Me and my lovely boyfriend made this a few weeks ago. We went to Sainsburys and basically picked out the cheapest sweets and chocolate we could find.
What you will need
- A few bars of chocolate
- bags of sweets
- A bowl
- A tray and tin foil
- a pan or pot
- a stove
- spoons
- and a fridge
Method
-First you need to boil some water on the stove in the pot.
-Then put the bowl over the boiling water.
- break up the chocolate and put it in the bowl
- the chocolate will start to melt, stir it to make sure its all melted
- pour the chocolate into the tray which should be lined with tin foil
- if you are using two different chocolate like we did, do one colour first and
then pour the other on top and mix it around to get the marble effect.
- add the sweets on top of the chocolate
- wait for it to cool slightly then put in the fridge
- leave it in the fridge a few hours to harden and enjoy!

I decided to paint my nails yesterday. I took the idea from a post on www.totally-nailed.com. I really wanted to try something different as I was bored of having red painted nails everyday. When I saw the tutorial I knew I wanted to give it a go. It's actually pretty simple to do, but if you have shaky hands like I unfortunately do, you might find it a bit tricky. To get this effect I used a sea green base coat and painted on (with a very small paint brush) the little pink flicks. I then went over this with a clear top coat to seal it.
I know they aren't amazing and don't even come close to how good the ones on the tutorial look but for a first try I don't think they are too bad haha!

The finished product!
These are the nail varnishes I used to create the feather effect nails.
