So you might remember, way back in August I celebrated my 21st birthday at the Hard Rock Cafe in Manchester. I've been to a few over the years and as this is the closest one to Birmingham I made my whole family trek up there for a night of good food and cocktails!
The Manchester Hard Rock is probably the biggest I've ever been to which made it way more exciting for me. I honestly almost cried when we arrived because I was just that happy and overwhelmed. As always there are loads of rock related goodies and they even have an Elvis Presley costume on the second floor!
As usual I ordered myself a standard burger which was just delicious and as it was my birthday I got a huge Sundae for free! The service was fantastic and the overall night couldn't have been better.
I couldn't recommend the Hard Rock Manchester enough and I cant wait to go back soon!
Have you ever been to a Hard Rock Cafe? Which one is your favourite?

Let's be honest a bouquet of flowers would make anyone happy. I love it when Sean rolls up with some pretty little Peonies but there's a few other, less traditional gifts I wouldn't turn my nose up at either. Guys take note...
Makeup - You know that new release we've been banging on about forever? Yep we want it. Chances are we're not actually hinting at you to buy it, we just like talking about it, but if you want to surprise us we wont say no.
An Adventure - Plan a day out but don't tell us where. It doesn't have to be romantic as long as its fun! Don't forget to tell us what to wear though, no-one wants to turn up in a cute outfit to go rock climbing!
A New Dress - Or anything clothing really. This could be a bit hit or miss but either way were going to appreciate the effort. I love buying Sean new clothes and if he ever wanted to repay the favour now would be a perfect time to do it. Just stay well away from anything bodycon, I wont look like the girls in the adverts bab.
An Experience Day - You think Go Karting and Paint Balling is just for guys? Think again. I absolutely love driving around a track like a mad woman, it's the closest thing I can get to actually driving right now plus I probably wont kill anyone in the process. For girls who can drive there are always track days!
Anything Unicorn - I know I cant have an actual Unicorn but anything Unicorn related will do. I'll take THIS or THIS, I'll even settle for THESE. You can never go wrong with anything cute.
Blogger Related gifts - Dating a blogger? Treat her to some business cards or buy her an advertising package to get her site out there! If she doesn't own a domain name why not buy one? Just make sure its one she actually wants to use for quite a while!
Your Time - I love a good present but honestly I'd be just as content spending the day with you. Gifts are nice but nothing beats enjoying a day with the person you love. So shower us in gifts all you want but remember you're the best thing we could ask for!
And I'm going to end it on that soppy note!

P.S. - Sean if you are reading this, I'm not hinting at presents I promise.
I have another Valentine's Day themed post for you all today and this time it's make up based! I'm one of the few people I know who like Valentine's day and I always try to do a couple of themed posts around this time of year! You might have already seen that this year me and Sean are heading down to the seaside for the day so I wanted to create a pretty little look that suited the holiday but wasn't too over the top. I wanted to use neutral colours and pinks as they are quite easy to wear and suit many skin tones. So lets talk about the products I used...
For my eyeshadow I used my new Gwen Stefani Urban Decay Pallet which I've fallen in love with. I use this pallet most days, opting for just one colour on my eyelids but for this look I wanted something a little more complex. I started at the inner corners of my eyes with the lightest shade; Bathwater, I then filled in the middle and outer edges of my eyelids with a peachy pink shade called Steady. As this is a day time look I didn't want to make my eyes too dark but I did want a bit more depth so I applied a small amount of the plum purple shade Punk to the very outer edges of my eyelids and blended it all together.
I used this little Revlon Shadowlinks eyeshadow above the main section of eyeshadow to even out of skin tone and cover up and sneaky little veins that could still be seen.
For my mascara I've used my all time favourite which is the Benefit Roller Lash. I've been using this mascara for the best part of a year now and I'm still in love with it. It's quite pricey but I've never used a mascara that lengthens my lashes like this so I will continue to fork out for it.
I decided to try out a different bronzer and highlighter today as my old Laura Paige one is starting to look a bit sorry for itself. I picked up the Collection BlushAndGlow pallet back in September at a beauty event and I haven't really used it all that much. I'm still undecided on if I like it or not.
I've given up on foundation lately, its way too heavy on my face and most days I don't really need the coverage. Instead I've been opting to use the Collection Cover Up before my powder and I have no complaints with it.
On my lips I have my old trusty Velvet Teddy Lipstick which I don't think I will ever get bored of. It goes with so many looks and can be worn day or night, plus is lasts forever on my lips. This one is looking a little worse for wear but luckily I have a brand new one in my cupboard ready and waiting to be used.
For my eyeliner I've chosen to use my favourite dirt cheap Miss Sporty Eyeliner. It's probably one of the cheaper things in my make up kit but it does the job just as well as some of the more expensive eyeliners you can buy.
I suffer with quite red skin and dark circles so I try to combat that with my little Essence sticks. I don't know if you can get these in the UK but I'm sure most other places in Europe sell them. I picked these up in Amsterdam back in August and I'm so so glad I did. The green eliminates redness and the pink helps with dark circles.
Lastly I used my MAC Powder Foundation to set everything. I've been using this for a couple of months now and its one of the best powders I've ever used, it even made last months Beauty Favourites!
What do you think of this look? Would you guys like to see more makeup looks?

Go For a Walk - Over the last few weeks me and Sean have been going for walks with the dog in our local wood. It's really hilly and pretty and can be a bit of a workout but it's also super fun. It's so nice to be away from everything and everyone completely surrounded by trees and nature. I love my weekly walks with Sean and I wouldn't mind at all if he suggested we start our valentines day with one.
Visit a Museum - Starting to sound like an old lady here but ah well. I really enjoy museums and old houses; me and Sean are actually members of the National Trust which saves us a lot of money in the long run. There are loads of free or cheap museums all over the country so if you're into that kind of thing it could be a nice way to spend a few hours.
Have a Film Marathon - Why go out when you could spend all day snuggling up in your PJS watching your favourite series or films? There's loads of cute films I'd love to watch with Sean but we never have the time, this way we could watch them all in one go!
Cook Together - After you've finished that film marathon why not get all dressed up and make dinner with each other? I adore cooking with Sean, we have so much fun and we make a killer Spaghetti Bolognese!
Go For Coffee - I don't drink coffee but I would murder someone for a good hot chocolate or a refreshing ice tea at one of my favourite coffee shops. Sometimes its nice to grab a drink and just sit with each other for a while. It can be hard to make time to simply talk with each other about things so put away your phones, and enjoy just being together.
Botanical Gardens - Here in Birmingham we have a gorgeous Botanical Garden Centre and I know many other major cities do too. I've spent so many hours wandering around this huge place taking photos of tropical plants and birds. I can't vouch for the others but our Botanical Garden is pretty cheap to get in and if you take a picnic you can save even more money!
So those are my best budget ideas for this Valentines day! I guess you're all wondering what me and Sean are planning this year? Well we're on a little bit of a budget as we're trying to save to move out and we aren't planning on doing presents either this year. We've decided to head down to Western-Super-Mare for a day by the beach and in the arcade spending lots of 2ps!
I'd love to hear what you guys are up to this year, are you going for a romantic meal or is Valentines really not for you?

So it's February. I usually post my monthly faves super late in the month but I've actually managed to post it early this time! Hopefully I can keep this up but I'm not making any promises! Righty lets talk about what I'm loving this month...
Paco Rabanne Black XS - This has become my new everyday perfume since I received it for Christmas. It's sweeter than the scents I usually wear with notes of berries, Patchouli and violets. I also think the bottle is really pretty and fairly chunky too which is always a bonus for me as I have a tendency to drop things.
Mac Mineralize Skin Finish in Light Plus - My sister gave me this just before Christmas as it was too light for her but it suited me perfectly as I'm ridiculously pale. Its a really nice consistency, a little bit thicker than other powders I've used and it gives quite a good coverage too. It retails at around £20 which is more than I've ever paid for a powder foundation but I'm very tempted to re-buy when this is all gone as its such a nice quality product.
Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Pallet - I knew the second I bought this that I was going to fall in love with it! All of the shades are so gorgeous and creamy and there is only one I'm a little unsure about using. So far every colour I've used has been incredibly vivid and has stayed on my eyelids for hours. You really do need a good make up remover to clean this up though especially when using the darker shades but thats not a big problem really. Although this pallet is quite pricey I think its definitely worth investing in as the shades are just so versatile.
Boujours Intense Eyeshow in shade #03 - Another eyeshadow but this isn't new. Sean bought me this a couple of years ago and I've recently rediscovered how pretty is it. Its probably one of the most sparkly eyeshadows I own and its a little bit messy but I don't mind. I do have to apply quite a bit before I'm happy with it but I quite like being able to layer up my eyeshadow.
So those were this months beauty favourites! I cant wait to get around to trying out some more of my Christmas presents as I received so many beauty bits. I'm sure next months favourites will be jam packed with all of the new things I've tested.
What do you think of this months faves? Have you tried any of these?

Sunnyside Bubble Bar £4.75
I can't even remember the last time I wrote about bath products but I tried out a new bubble bar a couple of weeks ago and I loved it. I've been slowly building up a collection of Lush goodies for a few months now and I've been way to busy to use them let alone review them, but I'm starting to make more time for myself and for my blog lately so here I am.
This little beauty is the Sunnyside Bubble Bar. I've been really in to bubble bars of late because you can always get loads of use out of them, I usually cute mine in half and have two relaxing bubble baths instead of one.
I picked up this one mainly because of how gorgeous and sparkly it is but also because of its pretty but subtle scent.
This bar contains 3 beautiful citrus oils; lemon, tangerine and wild orange which leave your skin smelling fruity and fresh. As always this product isn't tested on animals and all the ingredients are sourced from suppliers who don't test on animals either.
Unfortunately it doesn't foam up as much as I would like, but bathing in a gold glittery bath more than makes up for that! I've never had a bath with so much sparkle before and I loved it! I can't wait to use the other half of this bubble bar and I will definitely be buying it again. Although I usually break mine in half, I would recommend using the whole thing in one bath so you get the most out of it.
Have you ever used this? Whats your favourite Lush product?

Okay I know this is really late but i've been busy with going back to college. I was going to make a video about this but I'm lazy and still a little camera shy so here it is in blog post form.
Now I don't want this post to come off the wrong way, I've seen a lot of bloggers sharing what they got for Christmas and I wanted to do a little post on my presents too. I'm not trying to show off at all I just wanted to a Haul type post of my gifts. So lets start...
One of my favourite xmas prezzies this year was this huge bag of Soap & Glory products. The Whole She-Bang includes Heel Genius, The Righteous Butter, Clean on Me, Thick & Fast Mascara, Sexy Mother Pucker, Righteous Butter Sunkissed tint, Hand Food and The Scrub Of Your Life. I've tried a few of these before and I'm so glad to have them again. My all time favourite hand cream is Hand Food so I'm super happy to have another one to keep in stock.
More beauty goodies! Mom bought me one of my all time fave mascaras; Roller Lash and my sister treated me to this sparkly little thing from N07. I've never tried Lash Impact before but I'm definitely going to give it a go, I need all the help I can get in the lash department! I also received my first ever MAC Eyeshadow this year too. After falling in love with their lipsticks over the last few months I finally got my hands on something different. This gorgeous little lilac eyeshadow is called Ready To Party and I cannot wait to use it!
I was also treated to some gorgeous new scents this Xmas. I've been using sample perfumes and body spritz's for a little while now so I was desperate to get my hands on some proper perfume! My mom bought me Dot, one of my favourite Marc Jacobs scents and Sean gave me Black XS which was one of the samples I'd been using and had come to love.
It wouldn't be christmas without a few hair care treats right? This VO5 hairspray is the best hairspray going. I've tried others in this range before but the High Volume one is easily the best. I was also gifted with some Aussie shampoos and conditioners which I use all year round. I actually think they are quite pricey and as I'm on a student budget right now I was very very happy to receive these! The ones featured are the 3 Minute miracle for coloured hair and the Miracle Moist Shampoo, I also got the Miracle Moist Conditioner but I've already started on that!
Ahh MAC Lipsticks! I was lucky enough to have received 3 MAC lipsticks from my parents this year. I picked them up in the airport in November and I couldn't touch them until after Christmas! The shades I got were Faux, Whirl and my beloved Velvet Teddy. I really should have taken a photo of them with the lids off as you cant see how pretty they are but I have already posted about them here if you fancy a look.
So that was what I got for christmas this year. Again I don't want this to come off as braggy, I know I'm super lucky to have all of these treats!
What did you get this year, did we receive any matching presents?

Where have you been all my life?! I'm not a huge heels fan, you'll very rarely find me wearing anything other than Converse or dolly shoes but my god have I fallen head over heels for Ghillies!
This wasn't even a type of shoe I was aware existed until I wrote up the Kylie Jenner Steal Her Style post and now I just cant get enough of them. They are the type of heel that could be dressed up or down, worn with a dress or jeans and brings some serious attitude otherwise boring outfit. I've already snapped up a little New Look pair so I'm sure you'll see those in an outfit post soon!
Would you rock a pair of Ghillie heels?

Today I thought I would talk about my small but growing MAC Lipstick collection. I bought my first MAC Lipstick back in August and I haven't looked back since.
Now I don't want to come across as a makeup snob, I know these lipsticks are quite pricey and honestly most of them were gifts. I'm very lucky to be able to have nice things like this so I hope this doesn't look like I'm bragging. So lets talk about them...
Velvet Teddy - This was my first ever MAC lipstick. I jumped on the bandwagon and became a Velvet Teddy addict. The shade is just perfect and the lipstick its self has an amazing consistency. It lasts for hours on my lips and although I do have to re-apply after I've eaten I think this shade was well worth the money. I've almost finished my first one and I've already bought my next in preparation!
Faux - I received this shade for Christmas and I haven't actually had chance to use it yet which is a shame. The shade is just a little bit lighter and more pink than Velvet Teddy and I can easily see this becoming my new 'go to' lipstick . This shade retails at £15.50.
Meltdown - I bought this about a week after Velvet Teddy because I already knew I wanted to start a collection. One of the bloggers I followed at the time blogged about an orange lipstick she loved wearing and I wanted to get on that hype too. I didn't want to go for a bright orange so I settled for a subtle glittery shade. I don't wear this as much as the others and its not as vivid as I would like either but I'm still glad I have it in my collection so I can switch things up from time to time.
Whirl - This was another Christmas present and I haven't had chance to try this out either. This is more of a deep pink / brown shade that I would probably reserve for a night our or meal. I've seen nothing but good reviews about this shade online so I'm looking forward to trying it out!
Men Love Mystery - Where do I start with this shade? I picked it up at the airport before I went to Amsterdam in August and I fell in love instantly! I had lilac hair at this time too so I wore it almost every day because I thought it went well. It lasts forever although I do need to reapply every now and then because it starts to look a bit tired. I don't wear it as much as I would like too but I'm really glad I have it in my little collection.
So that was my MAC lipstick collection. I'd really like to keep adding to it over the next few months, and even throw in a few lip liners too! What shade do you think I should get next?
Also over the last few months and because of christmas I've managed to get my hands on a lot of nicer make up bits, would you guys like to see a high end make up collection post?

Late as always but I guess its kind of a tradition now right? This is my first monthly favourites post since my little blogging break late last year. I've tried quite a few new products out since then and I'm excited to talk about a few of them today!
Elegant Touch Rapid Dry for Nails - This is a actual miracle product! After years of spending hours waiting for my nails to dry I have finally discovered something that lets me get the job done in minutes. Its like a small tin of hairspray for your nails that you just spray on once you've applied a coat of polish. The spray contains vitamin E too which is meant to be good for your skin and nails. This product retails at around £3 which is great considering how much time it saves!
Trilogy Make Up Be Gone Cleansing Balm* - I received this in a goody bag from the Pegasus Beauty Event way back in September and its took me a couple of months to get around to using it. Before getting this cleanser I'd always used a basic Nivea one and it was good but sometimes felt like my eyes were sore after rubbing my make up off, this cleanser however is a bit more oily so my make up just melts away. I couldn't recommend this product enough although I would suggest being careful when using it around your eyes as it can make them quite bloodshot if enough gets in.
Collection Cover Stick - I've never really been a huge fan of foundation. I use it occasionally when I need a bit of extra coverage or for nights out but for every day I just want to even my skin tone out a bit. I use this little coverstick almost every day all over my face to even things out a bit and to cover any spots that might have popped up. It only costs £1.99 which is ridiculously cheap for the quality I think!
Witch Gentle Exfoliating Face Wash* - Another freebie from the Pegasus event and another product I've grown to love! After running out of my favourite Body Shop face wash I decided to give this one a go. I always choose exfoliating washes over basic ones so I knew I would love this product from the start. It smells really nice and gives a really thorough cleanse too which is exactly what I want in a face wash.
So those were last months favourites. Have you tired any of these products for yourself? I'd love to here what you thought.
