On Sunday me and Sean took a little day trip to London. We went to all the usual touristy places like Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, The London Eye, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly ect. We each bought an all day Tube pass so we could travel around and get anywhere we wanted.
Myself and Sean standing outside Buckingham Palace - this was Sean's first time seeing it!

After we visited the main tourist attractions I made sure we got a bit of shopping time in Camden. I'd never been to Camden before but it was amazing! As the self confessed shopaholic I am, this was paradise for me. Although I never really bought all that much, I could have easily got lost for hours looking at all the different shops and stalls. Unfortunately though we were only there for the day and still had a lot to see.

The London Eye - we didn't get chance to ride on it this time around
A London Underground sign, I think this was at Embankment?
We headed over to South Kensington to look at the museums but only had time for one so we picked the Natural History Museum. we spent most of the time looking at the dinosaur exhibitions which I didn't mind at all.
After the museum we grabbed some diner at Weatherspoons and set off for the Hard Rock Cafe where we had a couple of gorgeous cocktails. Then sadly it was time to get back to the coach station and head home.

I'm actually in love with London and I can't wait to go back again soon!
What are your favorite things to do in the capital?

For Valentines Day Seany booked the most beautiful hotel in Birmingham for us. The little cutie got us a lovely room at the Radisson Blu hotel in the city center. He knew I'd always wanted to stay at 'the big blue hotel' and made sure I did.
We checked in just after 2pm, after an emergency stop at Primark for a black belt as I'd forgot to pack mine oops. We then went straight up to our beautiful room and admired the gorgeous view. The room was perfect. Me and Sean relaxed with a few cups of complimentary tea before taking a shower and getting ready to go for dinner.

We had our Valentines dinner at Handmade Burger in the Bullring and it was delicious. We've never had a bad meal there but this was just amazing! I would 100% recommend eating there!
After dinner we made a little stop at Build a Bear Workshop and made our own teddy bears before heading back to our room.

Sean very excited to be making his own bear
When we got back I cracked open a couple bottles of wine and we sat looking out over Birmingham. I can't even begin to explain how lovely and relaxing it is just watching the world go by, especially when you can see for miles.
Just before midnight we settled down to watch Bad Grandpa which is actually hilarious. We must have kept our neighbors awake with our laughing. After the film finished we decided to get some sleep but set our alarms for 7am so we could watch to sun rise over the city.

I wouldn't be valentines night without drinking wine in the candlelight now would it?

At 7 we woke up and waited for the sunrise. I couldn't really get a good photo, but it was lovely. We had a couple more hours sleep before waking up for a yummy full English breakfast and check out.

On Sunday me and Sean went to Cadbury World in Bournville with my family. I'd been before years and years ago and I was really looking forward to taking Sean as he had never been. I love our days out and I just wanted to show you guys a few pictures from our fun day trip!
Beanville can be found by taking a go on the Cadabra ride

We basically spent the day eating free chocolate, learning where it comes from and being shown how its made. There's loads of fun bits like the Cadabra ride and having your photo taken in front of a green screen.
As you can see me and Sean took full advantage of the the green screen and ended up with the last photo! I'm sure I used to get a lot more free chocolate when I visited back in the early 2000's however, but I can't complain, I'm just sad because I absolutely LOVE Cadburys chocolate!

Of Course we had to have a photo in front of the green screen! Who knew we would be so good at riding chocolate waves?!
Cadbury World is amazing and I would advise anyone, chocolate lover or not, to take a trip. Now I'm quite lucky and Cadbury world is literally a 10 minute drive from my house but it's definitely worth going even if you don't live in the Midlands! It's a great day out for families, and couples alike and they even do deals on tickets if you're lucky!
Have you ever been to Cadbury World in Birmingham? Did you love it?

It's that time of the month again - time for a round up of my favourite things. This month I'm going to be talking about Jewelry, Makeup, and general beauty products!
So here are my favourite things this month...
Elephant earrings from Topshop // Red Collection 2000 Lipstick
Favorite piece of jewelry : Elephants earrings from Topshop. If you read my blog you will know how much I love elephants! When I saw these little beauts in the Topshop sale for £2.50 I knew they had to be mine! I've worn these almost every day I've had them and I don't think i'll stop loving them anytime soon.
Favorite makeup item : Collection 2000 #1 Prohibition. I had been looking for a new darker lipstick for a while and I saw this gorgeous colour in Superdrug for £3.99. The photo makes this shade look a lot brighter but it's actually a fairly deep pinky/red. It's a lovely colour and it was a good price so that's why it's my favorite.
Glitter nail varnish from Technic // Mango hand cream from L'Occitane
Favorite beauty product : L'Occitane Mango flower hand cream. I had this bought for me for Christmas and I love it. It smells beautiful and sorts out my dry hands. As I've said before, I suffer with very dry skin and I'm always looking for things that help and although it could be better, nothing beats how this smells!
Favorite Nail varnish : Technic 'mad Alice'. I wore this nail varnish for New Years and loved it so much I've worn it a few times since. It was only 99p and you know I love a good bargain!
So those were some of my favourite things from this month!
What have you been loving lately?
