As everyone is doing little round ups to finish 2015 I thought I would share my top 5 most viewed posts of this year. I was actually quite surprised to see what people had read the most over the last few months. Out of everything beauty related posts seemed to be pretty popular and one of my more controversial blog posts also got a lot of love. So here are my most viewed posts from 2015...

5. What I Take Camping - I took my first camping trip this year and I thought it might be a nice idea to talk about what essentials I'm going to take with me. As I'd never been before I also posted this in the hope that you guys would tell me the essentials you take so I don't get caught out! Someone on Twitter suggested I wear thick sock to sleep in which I never would have thought about but was such a good idea!

4. Empties #01 - My first ever empties post. I always talk about my favourite products on my blog but I thought it was about time I talked about all of the products I've finished wether I liked them or not. Considering how late in the year this was actually posted I'm very surprised it got so many views!

3. L'Oreal Paris La Palette Nude in Rose - My favourite beauty product of 2015! I cant even explain how much I've used this pallet over the last few months but I can honestly say it was worth every penny. I wrote a post on it the day after I got it because I knew how much I was going to use it and I wanted to get some pretty photos of it before I got it all messy!

2. Working With Brands : Honesty Is Always The Best Policy - This was one of my more risky posts? There was a lot of discussion around bloggers/ vloggers working with brands and being paid for content around this time and I wanted to share my opinion on the matter.

1. OOTD | White Playsuit - This was one of my favourite outfits to wear over the summer so I'm really glad it got a lot of love from you guys too! Although it didn't get as much use as I would have liked (Cheers British weather!) I loved wearing it and it was super comfy. The Playsuit was actually a Primark bargain and the Kimono is from Peacocks but I felt like it was worth so much more when I wore it!

So those were my most popular posts from 2015!

I hope you all have an amazing time tonight and I wish you all the best for 2016!

My Most Read Posts 2015

I've only just realised that I haven't introduced you all to George yet! George is our gorgeous new puppy that we've had for around 2 months now. He's a little liver and white Springer Spaniel and he is just the cutest thing ever. These are just a few photos I managed to take of him on Christmas Day, I did have plans to do a whole shoot of him in his little elf outfit but he soon ripped that off .

You might remember back in March that our amazing dog Blue passed away, George will never replace Blue but he will help fill the void and keep my Dad company (Blue was his dog).

So this is George, our beautiful little baby boy. I'm sure you'll see lots of him over the next few years!

Meet George

On Saturday the 19th  I was invited down to the Arcadian in Birmingham City Centre for a night of fashion, Music, Dance and fundraising for St Basils Charity. The main fashion show featured a selection of gorgeous party dresses from MiaMaria a new independant boutique based in the heart of Birmingham. The boutique which specialises in occasion and party wear were showcasing their Autumn/ Winter collections just in time for the festive season.

Another Local business; George Kosit hair, teamed up with Mia Maria on the night to make the models cat walk ready and despite the gale force winds everyones hair seemed to stay in place.

The other acts performing on the night were; The Mizzy Youth Dance Crew, who performed several dance routines; Neville Staple from The Specials & Sugary Staple who each performed their own songs.

One big part of the night was to raise money for the St Basils Charity which helps young homeless people in the West Midlands. They were collecting throughout the night and held a raffle with some great prizes. You can find St Basils Charity Here.

Southside Christmas Fashion Show

A couple of days ago I was on the hunt for some cheap last minute present ideas. I was really struggling for ideas until Paige Joanna linked me to an adorable DIY present she made last week. I loved the whole idea but I'm a terrible cook so I decided to create my own lazy girl version. Its a pretty simple idea but I'll run you through it.

What you'll need:
- A glass jar (mines from Poundland!)
- A Selection of sweets (Poundland again)
- Any decorations (Tags, Bows ect)

To make this little DIY sweetie jar I simply picked up a selection of sweets and counted an even amount of them into a a cute glass jar. I decided to choose wrapped sweets as I thought it would be less messy but you could use any type really.

Once I'd filled the jar I decided to add a cute little label and bow. I picked up a pack of various tags from The Works last week for just £1 but I'm sure they sell them everywhere this time of year. I just attached them with Sellotape, although I would have liked to tie the label around the lid but I couldn't find any string.

So this is the finished present. I decided to make another identical one so my parents could each have one to accompany their main presents. I think its a great little DIY gift for anyone short of time to buy anything. Its also super budget friendly costing just £3 for the jar and the sweets!

What do you guys think?

A Budget Homemade Gift

This year for moms birthday, instead of buying another box of chocolates or a bottle of wine that will sit unopened for months I treated her to Afternoon Tea at one of my favourite local hotels; The Ramada Solihull

I've stayed here a few times before with Sean for different occasions but we've never eaten in the restaurant, so when I found out they serve Afternoon Tea I booked us a table right away.
We arrived a little bit early for our booking but were promptly seated and our finger sandwiches and chocolate treats followed soon after.

We had the choice of Prawn, Egg and Cress and Cream Cheese and Cucumber sandwiches each served on white and brown bread. After we'd polished those off we started on the Strawberries, Amaretto Chocolates, Marshmallows and the Macaroons which came with a generous serving of dipping Chocolate. They were all tasty but the Strawberries were particularly delicious.

Now it was time for our Scones, which we just about had room for! They were served on a small square plate with more Jam and Clotted Cream than we could have ever eaten plus they were still warm from the oven which was a lovely touch.

I finished my pot of tea and mom her coffee and we left to do a spot of shopping. I really loved the whole thing and if mom enjoyed it even half as much as me she will have had an amazing time.

I couldn't recommend going for Afternoon Tea at the Ramada in Solihull enough, it was very reasonable and between us we had 4 pots of hot drinks, all of which were included!

I'd really like to go again and if you have any recommendations of good places to have Afternoon Tea, please tweet me or let me know in the comments!

Huge Xmas Wishlist

Another month, another beauty box, and this month I've got the BirchBox to talk about. I was actually going to cancel this months subscription but the payment had already gone through so here it it...

Benefit Puff Off & They're Real Push-Up Liner Duo - I'm sure you've all heard about these little products before and I'm so excited to finally try them out! The Push Up Liner is specifically designed to hug the lash line and 86% of people who tried it out agreed that it did. The Puff Off gel on the other hand is used after you've taken your make up off to smooth the look of under eye puffiness!

Jelly Pong Pong Glow Getter Luminizer Gel - Another bloody highlighter in a beauty box, how creative. I've received so many highlighters in beauty boxes over the years and I'm getting a bit fed up of it. Saying that, this does look really good quality, the packaging is adorable and its hypoallergenic.

Ciate London Paint Pot - I love it when beauty boxes come with Ciate goodies, as they are so good and generally quite pricey to buy. This month I've received the mini version of Razzamatazz which is a gorgeous glittery gold. I've only tested it out so far but it already looks amazing and perfect to wear over christmas!

When Travelmate Sheet Mask - I've never heard of this brand before but I love a good facemask so i'm looking forward to trying it out. You simply place the sheet which is soaked in fermented coconut juice over your face and leave for 30 minutes. The treatment will leave your skin feeling 'pampered and soothed'.

Rituals T'ai Chi Foaming Shower Gel - Another brand I've never heard of before but one I'm excited to use! This foaming shower gel has a gorgeous floral scent and softens and cleanses the skin.

L. Erickson Grab & Go Ponytail Holder - Its a bobble with a fancy name, what can I say.

So that was this months BirchBox. Some products I'm really excited to use and some I think are a complete waste of time (see fancy hair bobble). This will be my last Birchbox for now but who knows which new beauty box I'll try out in the coming months.

What did you think of this months box?

December BirchBox

Well I'm back! I know I've been MIA for about a month but I'm here now and I've got a few pictures to share from the Clothes Show Live on Saturday!
This is my second year of going to the Clothes Show and it was just as good as the previous year! Sean took me again this time and spent hours wandering around the stalls with me the little cutie.

We arrived pretty late, partly due to wanting a little lie in and also because of some badly worded road work signs (looking at you Birmingham City Counsil!) so by the time we got there everything was in full swing.
I didn't really bother with any of the little cat walk shows throughout the day which was a bit of a shame but we were really short on time. Most of the day was spent shopping and that's exactly what I had planned! Although I was on a bit of a budget (when am I not!) I managed to get a fair bit of stuff and even snapped up a few bargains and freebies.
I never really seem to get any clothes at the Clothes Show and honestly this year was the same, I only came away with a jumper and a clutch bag if that counts? But I could have bought so much more.

This year I was really happy to see that Sue Ryder had a stand and they actually stocked quite a lot of decent stuff! I came away with a gorgeous bright pink fluffy clutch bag that was only £10 when they sell on eBay for so much more. I really hope more charities jump on the bandwagon because I can see it being such a good way to make money for them, especially as so many people go looking for vintage treats!

Make up was what I really planned to get my hands on and I did pick up a few bits and bobs as well as couple of free goodies. I really wish I'd have budgeted a little bit more for beauty bits as there was just so much choice and the goodie bags seemed to be well worth the money this year!

The main show was also amazing. Sean booked us in for the last showing of the day so we could just get off home once we'd seen it. I really really loved it, although I did feel like it was maybe a little bit shorter than last year.

Overall I had an absolutely fab day and I so cant wait to go back next year! I'm hoping to do a haul video of what I got soon and I'll definitely be posting my OOTD as I was really happy with it!

Did you get chance to go to the Clothes Show this year?
