I wanted to make quick post about my pretty new shoes from Primark. I don't usually buy shoes from Primark as I have super wide feet and they just don't fit me well. These little beauty's however have made me completely change my mind about Primark shoes. They fit me perfectly, they look great and they were only £4 each! They come in so many different colours and I can definitely see myself going back for more!

What I Bought | £4 Primark Shoes

So In case you guys hadn't noticed, I'm loving cheap make up products right now. Its that time of year when I'm saving for Christmas, everyone's birthday presents and mine and Seans anniversary, so moneys pretty tight. But luckily for me Wilkos has started selling Essence beauty products, all of which are under £5!
Okay so I know what you're thinking, a £2 lipstick, how good can it be? Well I'll tell you..
Lets start with the price as that's the main reason why I bought it. At just £2.60 its a bargain and a half! Most of my lipsticks are £10+ which isn't too bad considering how long they last but if I could I would love to pay less.
At under £3 for a lipstick I wasn't expecting a lot and honestly its not the most glamorous looking lipstick. The case is plain black and pretty basic but for the price I cant complain at all.
Now lets talk about the staying power. One reason why I usually spend a fair bit on lipstick is because I assume if I pay more they are going to be better quality and stay on for hours. I was so surprised at how long this lipstick stayed on. I wore it for the first time to go for a meal with Sean and I couldn't believe that hours after putting it on, and even after eating my food the colour was still quite vivid. I couldn't really be happier with how long is stays on. One thing I will say though is that sometimes I apply a coat of Carmex on top of my lipsticks to make them super shiny and they don't last half as long as they would on their own.
Another good point is how easy is it so apply. Its not a sticky dry lipstick so it goes on really nicely and its so easy to wipe off again if you make a mistake.
I really love this lipstick. This shade in particular is a gorgeous pinky red shade that is one of my favorites and I think really suits me.
I only have one problem with this lipstick and that is that at £2.60 I seem to have bought quite a few in lots of other shades!
Overall I love this product. I literally dont have anything bad to say about it. If you are looking for a decent cheap lipstick and you arnt too bothered about it looking fancy, this is the lipstick for you. Its a brilliant bargain buy and I would give it a 9/10.

Weekly Roundup | week 46

I've been meaning to cancel my Glossy Box subscription for the past few months but I really cant bare to get rid of it! Its like a little surprise present to myself and I just cant bring myself to cancel it so these posts are going to be around for a little while longer! So heres what I got this month...

1. Rimmel London BB Cream - I cant wait to try this little beauty out! I've been after a good BB cream for a while now and I've heard good things about this one. I've been using Rimmel foundation for a while now so I'm excited to try another version of it.
2. Yves Rocher France Quelques Notes D'amour - If you read my blog you will know I wasnt overly impressed with the last Yves Rocher product I received, but I'm still looking forward to trying out this perfume. I always love testing new perfumes and I especially love getting sample sizes that I can pop in my bag and take out with me.
3. So Susan Cosmetics Flutter Mascara -  The didn't like the last mascara Glossy Box sent me but I'm hoping this one is a bit better. I have one mascara that I swear by and I've been wearing it since I was 16 so this product would really have to be amazing to impress me!
4. Etre Belle Costetics Liplift Peel - I cant even explain how happy I am to have this! I unfortunately suffer with dry/ peeling lips so I cant wait to give this a go.
5. Ciate London Paint Pot - This is another product I was over the moon to receive. I've been wanting some Ciate nail polish for years and now I have one! I got a lovely terqoise shade (#60 Ditch the Heels) which I dont think I would have chosen myself but I still think its gorgeous. I cant wait to paint my nails with this and I'll post the results here!
6. Nuxe Creme Fraiche - I always love a good face cream and this one smells beautiful. I havent tried it yet but I have high hopes for this product and I'll let you all know what I think.

I think this months box might actually be my favorite yet. I'm so excited to try everything and I will definitely be writing reviews for everything so keep a look out!

Glossy Box | October

So the other week I posted about some super cheap make up products I picked up in Wilkinsons. This eye shadow was definitely the product I was most excited about and after wearing it basically every day since heres what I think about it...
Lets start with the price. At the amazing price of £1.60 I wasn't expecting the best quality in the world but the shade was just too pretty so I had to get it. I was really surprised at how easy it was to apply. A lot of pricier eye shadows can be really dusty and I'll end up with tiny specs of it all over my face, but I didn't get that with this eye shadow. I also love how sparkly it is and how easy it is to blend with other eye shadows.
The only bad point is the staying power. The glitter wears off after a few hours and you are left with a kind of beige colour but for the price I paid this didn't bother me at all.
I really love this product. Its become a sample piece in my make up bag the last week and I'm sure I'll be using it until it runs out. The price is amazing for the quality of the eye shadow and I would honestly recommend it to you guys. Over all I'm really happy with this product and I would give it a 9/10!

Weekly Rounup | Week 45

I received this little primer in a Glossy Box a few months ago. I'd been meaning to get one for ages but never got around to it so I was pleasantly surprised when this came in the post.
I've never used a primer before so I don't have anything to compare it to but I'm pretty happy with it so far. I use it every time I wear eye shadow and sometimes when I don't to hide any visible veins on my eyelids.
This primer stops any creases in my eyelids and I think it helps my eye shadow to stay on a lot longer.  Its really easy to apply and drys quickly so you're not waiting too long to put on your eye makeup.
Overall I'm really impressed with this product and I would recommend it to anyone. I'd give the Absolute New York eye shadow primer a 10/10.

Me and Sean before shopping | Free drinks in Town | My amazing new laptop | New £3 chain | Town was so busy | Out for food
So not a lot happened this week. I did a bit of shopping and had to fork out for a new laptop after my old one died. It was such a hassle trying to rescue all my photos off my old laptop but with a bit of help from Sean we managed it. Now I have a sparkly new laptop to do all my blogging on!

Weekly Roundup | Week 44

1. Nivea 3 in 1 Cleansing Water - I received this little beauty in last months Glossy box and I love it. I'm a bugger for leaving makeup on before I go to bed and getting this product has deffo encouraged me to take it off before I go to sleep. It takes my make up off really easily and smells great too. It claims to cleanse, remove make up and moisturize. Although I haven't noticed any difference in my dry skin it definitely does the first two.
2. Teeez Trend Cosmetics Flat Brush - This is another Glossy box Product I use daily. When I first got this little brush I wasn't that impressed, it was really stiff and I just didn't like it. But since then my fave eye shadow brush died and I had to use this until I could purchase a new one. After using it a few times I realized how good it actually was and never went out to buy a new brush. Its a lot thicker than my other brushes which is why I love it and its softened up a bit since I first got it too.
3. Baylis & Harding Strawberries and cream hand lotion - This hand cream came in a gift set I bought in the sale after valentines day this year. Its took me quite a while to get around to using it and now its almost gone. I love this cream so much. it smells amazing and it doesn't upset my eczema even though its very heavily scented.
4. L'Oreal Mythic Oil - Another Glossy Box product surprise surprise. This also came in the September Glossy Box and its amazing. I used it virtually straight away and I couldn't have been happier. It smells so gorgeous and its not greasy. It makes my hair look healthy and shiny without making it look like its hasn't been washed in a week, like some other oils.

I hope you enjoying reading through my September beauty Favorites!

Beauty Favorites | September

I received this little nail varnish in my August Glossy Box and I was so happy I did. Its a gorgeous colour and a shade I've been after for quite a while. This was the perfect summer colour for me and couldn't had arrived at a better time as it was the polish I used for my holiday nails. Although I haven't shown it here I decided to use this varnish under a top coat of a sparkly pink varnish. I was very happy with the overall outcome although that was largely due to the top coat I chose.

I found this nail varnish very hard to apply evenly as it was fairly gloopy. The fact that the brush was very small and quite bad quality contributed to how hard it was to apply.
When I tried to apply a second coat it seemed to just move the first coat around and my nails were left looking quite patchy. I managed to save the whole thing by applying a thick glittery top coat and I know now for the future that I will always have to use some sort of top coat if I chose to use this varnish again.

Overall I love the colour of this nail varnish but its such a pain to apply. I probably will use it again but I will remember to apply a top coat so it doesn't look uneven. All in all I would give this nail polish a 4/10.

Weekly Roundup | Week 43

1. Essence eye shadow #35 Party All Night £1.60  |  2. Essence eye shadow #70 Fox in the box 50p (sale)  |  3. Essence Lipstick #6 Barley There £2.30  |  4. Essence Lipstick #4 On the Catwalk £2.30

A few Glossy Boxes ago I received the most amazing lipstick. It was an Essence lipstick in shade #7 and I completely fell in love with it. It was the perfect shade, the perfect texture and it stayed on for hours. Unfortunately I'm coming to the end of it so I needed to track down another one. A quick Google search showed me where I could find my beloved lipstick and imagine my surprise when I found out Wilkinson's stock it!
Recently Wilkinson's has started selling make up products and has a whole section dedicated the bargain beauty brand Essence. Unfortunately they didn't have my favourite shade in stock but at £2.30 each I didn't mind trying out some new shades.
I also picked up some gorgeous little eye shadows while I was there. I decided on a glittery gold shade and then found a more subtle bronze in the sale box for 50p!
I was very happy with my mini shopping trip and I'll deffo be doing reviews of these products so keep a look out!

Mini Haul | Bargain Beauty Items

I wanted to show you guys these amazing clutch bags I ordered from Asos last week. Originally I was only going to get one but as I'm ridiculously indecisive I got both!
Over the summer New Look released some gorgeous fruit shaped clutches that I wasn't quick enough to get my hands on so I knew I wouldn't let these beauty's go. They arn't the biggest clutch bags in the world but they fit everything I need for a night out so I cant complain, and they dont break the bank either at £12.99 each. I think they are so so cute and I'll deffo be using them ALOT.
I'm going to try and style them for an OOTD in the next few weeks so keep a look out!
