XMAS GIFT GUIDE - FOR MOMS | BLOGMAS DAY 2

With winter fast approaching it's about time we all updated our wardrobes. If we are honest though, it's that time of year where we are all saving for the most expensive holiday; Christmas. To keep costs down I've devised a list of just 5 things I think you need to tide you over until spring!
-- Thick Knit Jumper --

I think this is an obvious choice really, who doesn't love snuggling up in a super cosy jumper when it's freezing outside? I stock up on jumpers in the winter as I practically live in them; the thicker the better.

-- Black Boots --

Let's be honest, you can wear a good pair of black boots all year round but when it's cold and wet you definitely need something study to protect your toes. I wear Converse pretty much all the time but they aren't great when you have to wade through muddy puddles.

-- Cosy Parka --

Another obvious one really. I love a snuggly parka coat; if I get a good quality one it can easily last me a few years so I definitely think they are worth investing in.

-- Snuggly Pyjamas --

I spend half of my life in pjs so I don't mind spending a bit of moola on them. I'm not one of those people that sits in their normal clothes at home (Sean on the other hand...), the second I get in I swap straight into my pyjamas and relax.

-- Versatile Party dress --

You'll probably be going to a few parties during the festive season so it's a good idea to invest in a dress that you can wear a lot. If you are lucky you might even find something you can dress down to wear to work after all of the fun is over.

If I'm honest I could have added 100 more things to this list but I think these are the necessities you could get away with buying. Is there anything you guys run out to buy every winter?

5 ITEMS YOU NEED IN YOUR WINTER WARDROBE

I've just booked a holiday, my first holiday of 2017 and I cannot wait. Me and Sean are off to Warsaw, Poland in March and while it's still a little while away, I'm dying to pick up a few new bits before I go. I've decided to put a small wishlist together in the hopes that its all still in stock in few weeks time.

So I have no idea what the weather is going to be like when we land. I know it can be a little hit and miss around this time of year and I'm probably being overly optimistic with my outfit choices but I guess I can always layer up.

One thing that I would really love to get my grubby hands on for the weekend is that gorgeous pink Grafea rucksack. I know they are expensive, pretty heavy and just a bit impractical but its literally amazing so I really don't care. Also can we just talk about those leopard print boots for a second! Again completely the wrong thing to wear for walking around a rainy city all day but bloody hell they are lovely!

While I'm talking about my holiday, if anyone has any blog posts about Warsaw or Poland in general I'd love to read them, so please leave the links below or tweet me!

CITY HOLIDAY WISHLIST

Christmas has just about wiped all of us out of energy and our hard earned cash, but with New Years Eve looming we all still want to look a little glam, even if budgets are a bit tight. Well fear not as I've rounded up 24 of the best New Years Eve appropriate dresses for under £25! I did want to include 25 but it couldn't be done on the widget haha.

I've tried to include a little something for every shape and size. I know the pain of trying to find that perfect dress only to be shown a thousand things that would never suit me. I really hope this little wishlist helped you guys find yourselves an NYE outfit!

What are you all up to this New Years?

24 NEW YEARS EVE DRESSES £25 & UNDER

You guys seemed to really enjoy my last wishlist of the best coats so I thought I should do another round up but this time its all about lippy! This time of year I'm really into deep vampy/ berry colours but I'm also still loving my typical dusty pink shades too. So here is a little run down of the best Autumn/ Winter lipsticks you can buy right now!

So those were some of my favourite lipsticks out right now. I know some of them were a little bit pricey, but you have to treat yourself once in a while right?! Saying that I think it would honestly hurt me inside to pay over £20 for one product even if it does have gorgeous rose gold packaging! Let me know if you've tried any of these lippies out as I'd love to read some reviews!

The Best Autumn/ Winter Lipsticks

So here is this months round up of everything I've been chucking into my saved items on Asos. Asos is literally my 'go to' for everything right now. If theres anything I need, I check Asos before heading anywhere else!

Also did you guys here about the new points system? If you didn't get an email explaining, Asos have basically stated up a reward system where you get 5 points for every £1 you spend. Then when you have 500 points you can trade that in for a £5 off voucher! Its not the best reward system I've ever seen but its better than nothing I guess!
