'Apply Hand Food hand cream as often as you want to soften' and thats exactly what I have been doing for over a year. I want to start off by saying this is one of, if not the best hand creams I have ever used and I've tried out quite a few in my time. As you all probably know by now, I suffer with really dry skin and I'm always on the hunt for a good moisturizer. I never expected to find one in Christmas beauty gift box. I received my first tube of Hand Food in a huge Soap and Glory gift box for Christmas 2013 and I've been using it ever since. I'm not really sure how it hasn't popped up on the blog until now.

Lets start with that gorgeous scent. You might have picked up that I love good smelling products, if it doesn't smells amazing I don't want to use it. According to the Soap and Glory website Hand Food is scented with their own 'Pink' Fragrance, but it contains Shea butter, Macadamia oil and marshmallow so I'm guessing that would influence how it smells? Whatever the scent is, its good and I'm happy for my skin to smell like it.

Another thing I like about this product is the packaging; as with all Soap and Glory products it is cute and girly. I have always purchased the 50ml size which must be the travel size as you can buy a bigger 125ml for £5. I prefer this size as its easy to take out with you and as its under 100ml you can put it in your carry on luggage when you are flying. I don't know about anyone else but dry plane air doesn't do my skin any favors and I like to have moisturizer handy.

I use Hand Food every night before I go to bed and I always wake up with super soft, moisturized hands. It smooths out all the wrinkles on my fingers and makes them look a lot plumper and young. I know that sounds like a really odd thing to say as I'm only 20, but a lifetime of eczema has made my hands age quite a lot.

Overall I think this is a really good quality product and its brilliant value for money. I really enjoy using the Hand Food Hydrating Hand Cream and I would give it a 9/10.

Have your ever tried Hand Food? Whats your favorite hand cream?

I love Instagram, anyone who knows me knows I'm a complete addict. If I'm not uploading photos of my dinner and selfies, I'm browsing through #fbloggers and liking photos of expensive eye shadow. As I spend so much time on Instagram I thought I would share some of my favorite accounts. I've decided to leave out the big bloggers and focus of the smaller accounts, so here are my top 4 Instagram accounts you should follow right now!

Who doesn't love a good bath bomb? I often find myself wandering into LUSH with every intention to just browse but I always end up leaving a fiver shorter. This happened a few days ago when I went on a little shopping trip to Merry Hill. I wanted to see if I could snap up some of the Easter stock but there wasn't any left. I soon found another product I was yet to try, the 'Sex Bomb' bath bomb and I used it a day later.

The 'Sex Bomb' is infused with Jasmine, Ylang Ylang and Clary Sage to help you relax after a hard day. Clary sage is said to clear the mind and Ylang Ylang is known for helping wish anxiety. It is also made using many natural ingredients as well as some safe synthetic ones.

As with every LUSH bath bomb it smelled gorgeous, even before it was put into the water. When I popped in into the bath it immediately started fizzing and let off this beautiful floral scent. It bubbled around the bath for a few minutes releasing a deep dusty pink, almost purple colour. When it was all fizzed out the little soap flower that was originally set in the bath bomb floated to the top and swam around the bath for a while. I thought this was a fabulous little novelty that would have lasted quite a long time had I not filled my bath too high and it was sucked down the overflow.

There's a lot to like about this bath bomb. Its relaxing, it smells amazing and its very instagramable! I loved bathing a bright pink water and I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again in the future. Overall I would give this little beauty a 9/10.

Have you used the Sex Bomb Bath Bomb?

Its been ages since I put together a little beauty wishlist so this post is well overdue. I'm usually lusting over expensive clothes but every now and then I get a craving for a new lipstick or eye shadow. So here's a little list I threw together of some beauty bits I would love to try out right now. There's a lot of lipsticks on this list because I love a good lippy and I think it can change your whole look. I'm also loving that hair chalk comb, something I've never seen before but would love to get my hands on!

I'd love to know if any of you have tried these products? What did you think?

Floral Kimono from New Look Similar Here
Black Scalloped top from Top Shop Here
Grey Jeans from Asos Similar Here
Silver Chain Necklace Similar Here
Silver Boots from Primark Similar Here

I haven't done an OOTD post in ages and to be honest I couldn't wait to shoot this. Its probably not the most inspiring outfit you've seen but I really wanted to show off these amazing boots! I picked them up a few days ago when I popped into Primark. I was actually after some cheap work shoes but somehow managed to come out with these baby's (and no work shoes). It was love at first sight and although I wasn't sure how to style them the £3 price tag sold them to me. Yes you read right £3(!!!!!). I haven't got a clue why they were so cheap but I guess they had been in the sale for a while and Primark wanted rid of them.

I decided to pair them with a more or less all black outfit apart from my favorite little kimono. This kimono has been a wardrobe staple for me since November and I'm not entirely sure how it hasn't cropped up on here before now. It was another sale purchase from New Look and although I cant find it on the website there are many other similar kimonos online. Teamed with my fave Topshop T-shirt and a pair of grey skinnies, I really like this look and wore it out to dinner a few night ago. These boots arn't something I could wear everyday but for nights out and other occasions I can definitely see myself wearing them a lot.

I know these boots are a bit like Marmite but I'd love to hear what you think about them.
How would you style them?

OOTD | Silver Boots

Today I wanted to write about something a little bit different, but something that has been on my mind for a while. I've been blogging for about 2 years now and I love it. Its a creative outlet for me that's mine to do what whatever I want.
Over those two years I've built up a lovely little following of readers and although It may be small I'm really proud of how far I've come with my blog. I would love to take blogging a step further, set up a Facebook page, share it on Instagram and tell the world all about my little space on the Internet, but I'm scared.

I'm scared because for the last 2 years I've kept my blog a complete secret from those around me. Apart from Sean and a few people in my family no one knows what I do in my free time. Even my best friends don't know about my blog because I really don't think they would understand this world.
I'm scared of being judged for doing what I love and I don't really know what to do about it.

Over the last few months I've been seriously considering YouTube. Its an amazing platform for bloggers and it makes showing you guys things a lot easier. I've been planning to do a haul video for so long now but I just couldn't bare it if someone from work, or one of my friends found it. I have posted a few videos on YouTube now, but I haven't been in them too much or speaking in them.
I also made an Instagram account for my blog about a year ago, but one of my friends found it and I had to take my URL out of the description. Its such a shame because I see bloggers sharing their posts and photos all over Instagram and its a great way to get your blog out there.

One thing I do have that luckily no one has found yet is my Twitter. I love Twitter, its full of lovely supportive bloggers from all over the world who love to chat. Although I don't really take part in the bloggers chats too much I still find its a great way to talk to others. I also get to share my blog posts on there and I'm sure that's how a lot of my newer followers have found me. I've also discovered some of my favorite bloggers through twitter, I think its really important to read and support other blogs, especially the smaller ones.

I know there's a lot of you out there in the same boat as me. I've seen tweets and posts about how you keep your blog a secret too. Its such a shame that we keep a huge part of out lives from the people closest too us. I'd love to tell my friends all about blogging and how amazing the whole community is but I just don't think they would understand. I didn't want this post to be negative, although I feel like it has gone that way, I just wanted to get it all off my chest. One day I will take blogging further but for now its my little space that's just for me and I'm happy to keep it that way.

Do you guys keep your blog secret or do you tell everyone you know? How would you feel about your friends and family reading your OOTD posts or watching your haul videos?

My Secret Blog

1. Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick in #625 'Iced Caramel' - This lipstick has definitely become my favorite out of the two. Its also a matte lipstick but its also really creamy and I don't feel the need to add a glossy top coat. This is a much lighter more natural shade and I've been wearing it most days. Although it is a very basic shade I still think it completes my makeup look nicely and I'm definitely going to get a lot of wear out of it.

2. Laura Paige Sunset Shimmer Bronzing Powders - I bought this little set months ago at the clothes show but I've only really been using it for the last couple of weeks. I've never really been into bronzing and contouring but I've been feeling really pale lately and I needed something to brighten up my face. I use the darker shades to define my cheekbones and the lighter shade to highlight under my eyes, along my nose, and the center of my forehead. It really does make a big difference to my overall makeup.

3. No7 Extreme Length Waterproof Mascara - When I first tried out this mascara I didn't really like it. I felt like it was a bit too wet for my lashes if that makes sense? It stayed in my pen pot for a couple of months until I cracked it out again a few weeks ago. Its very similar to my old faithful 'Exceptional Definition' which is another No7 product. It makes my lashes look super long and now that its dried out a bit, it fans them out really nicely too. I will definitely be repurchasing this mascara in the future.

4. Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick in #553 'Glamorous Red' - So I picked up this lipstick and the one below in Duty Free on my way back from Amsterdam last month. I was after a new Channel lippy but they didn't have any so I settled for these beauty's. I was only going to get one but as I couldn't decide which I liked better and they were so cheap I got both. This one is a deep pink, almost red colour and I've mostly been wearing it on nights out and to dinner. Its a matte lipstick but its really creamy which is hard to find even in regular lipsticks.

I've love to hear what you guys are loving this month!

Beauty Favorites | March

So I thought I'd try something slightly different on the blog today. Lately I've been playing around with more lifestyle and travel posts and I thought why not review some of the best places I've eaten at? Well I'm going to start with a little pizzeria me and Sean ate at in Amsterdam.
Mas Y Mas is actually two restaurants put together. Primarily advertised as a steak house they also sell pizza and that is what me and Sean went for.

Price -  We found the city to be quite pricey and struggled to find a meal for under €15. We looked at a few pizza places before settling on this one which turned out to be one of the cheaper places to eat in Amsterdam. Our pizzas were just under €10 each, my ice tea was €2.50 and a coke was €5 which isn't exactly a bargain but quite reasonable for central Amsterdam.

Location - Mas Y Mas is located at 26-28 Damstraat which just off Dam Square in central Amsterdam. Its on the same road as Madame Tussauds and just around the corner from the red light district so its really easy to get to.
Service - I thought the service here was really good. When we arrived the owners greeted us and asked us if we would like to sit on the steak house or the pizzeria side but whichever side we chose we could still order from the other. We chose the pizzeria side and we were seated by a lovely English speaking waitress who let us virtually pick our own seats. Once ordered our food and drinks didn't take long to arrive and after we had eaten we didn't feel pressured at all to leave straight away.

Food/ Drink Quality - Like I said, this was once of the cheaper restaurants in Amsterdam so I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised when this huge pizza arrived in front of me. The pizza was delicious and the side of chips was gorgeous too. There was more then enough for the two of us and we couldn't quite finish it. I didn't drink any alcoholic drinks here but there were a range of beers and cocktails available starting at €5.

Overall I really enjoyed eating as Mas Y Mas. The service was good and the atmosphere was very relaxed. If I'm ever back in Amsterdam I will definitely be eating here again although I would like to try the steak house side next time.
Overall rating - ⋆⋆⋆⋆

Restaurant Review | Mas Y Mas Amsterdam

I haven't written a product review in quite a while so I thought I'd get back into it with a product I've been testing out over the last few weeks. Sudocrem is a very well known skin care product, its been a family favorite for years. My mom had always used it on us as kids and up until recently I thought it was really only for soothing sore skin and nappy rash. That was until I picked up a handy travel sized Skin Care Cream.

The Sudocrem Skin Care Cream is specifically designed for teenagers and adults with sensitive or spot prone skin. It can also be used to soothe shaving rash and help with dry patches. Although I never tried this out on rashes I can definitely vouch for it being a gentle product and helping clear up dry skin.
As you all probably know by now I suffer will really dry skin and patchy eczema. Although there's no cure for it I have used several creams that have helped, including this one. I get a really bad patch of dry skin on my wrist and for the last couple of weeks I have been applying Sudocrem before bed. I really wish I had some before and after pictures because the transformation really is amazing. Although it hasn't totally cleared up, its healed up quite a lot and the skin isn't as inflamed.

Although it doesn't claim to be a moisturizing cream, it does help with dry skin. Like I said previously, I've used it every night before bed and with regular use I did see improvements. If you do have severe dry skin like myself, I would suggest using other moisturizing creams to accompany the Sudocrem as it cant work miracles.

One thing I love about this cream is the smell. Although its not advertised as a scented skin care cream it does smell really good and even Sean commented on how nice my face smelt after I'd applied it. Another bonus is the price. A 30g travel sized product retails at around £1.99 and considering how long it lasts, its a bargain.
One thing I personally don't like about this cream is the consistency. Its quite a thick cream and although some people love that, I generally prefer thinner creams as I've found this quite hard to rub in. However when the cream is rubbed in properly it doesn't feel greasy on the skin which is always a plus when you use it before going out.

This isnt a cream I would used all over but for particularly dry or irritated skin its become my daily go to product. Overall I've enjoyed using this product and I will continue to use it along side my other skin care creams. I would give this cream an 8/10.

Have you tried Sudocrem before? Do you like it?

Review | Sudocrem

I've been putting off writing this for a few days now but its time to get it all written down. This is Blue, he was a gorgeous 6 year old Springer Spaniel dog and he was our baby. We got him when I was 13 and it was the best thing that ever happened to us. After years and years of begging, our parents had finally got us a puppy and he was adorable.

Although he was our family pet, he was mainly my dads dog and his best friend. He walked him every night and they went out shooting twice a week. Blue was really well trained and we taught him loads of tricks, nothing that impressive, but it made us all happy. He also came on quite a few holidays with us. It was tricky finding somewhere that allows dogs but he came down to Cornwall with us a couple times. He loved the sea and the dog beaches although he was never really that fussed about other dogs.

On Friday Blue spent all day out with dad, running around fields and chasing geese. He must have had a lovely but tiring day out as he went straight to sleep when he got home. He never woke up again.
Blue was the loveliest, most gentle dog anyone could ask for and we are all devastated he isn't here.
Words cant even explain how much we miss him.
