JULY BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Okay I know I'm a little bit late with this post, but I'm still getting back into the swing of blogging after my little break. I didn't really buy that much last month and I didn't really try many new products either so I only really have these 3 things to write about. My august beauty favorites will be a lot more interesting as I received so many pretty little products for my birthday that I can't wait to try out!

So here are my July beauty favourites...

an image showing the L'oreal Nude Rose Palette, the body shop tea tree scrub, and the body shop BB cream

1. The Body Shop Tea Tree Squeaky Clean Scrub - Sean actually treated me to this a few months back and I haven't stopped using it since. I've never really had bad skin, but this warm muggy weather we've been having lately does make me occasionally break out so this stuff has been a godsend. It smells amazing and I feel like I get a really good cleanse because of the exfoliating beads. I think it's a little pricey at £6.50 but I would 100% recommend it and I will definitely be repurchasing when I run out!

2. L'Oreal Paris La Palette Nude in Rose - I'm sure you are all fed up of seeing this palette by now but its played such a major part in my makeup this month. I wrote a very short post about it here when I first got it and I knew then I would love it. I think the colours are all so vivid and long lasting and there are so many looks you can create with just this palette. The only thing that would have made this better would be a nude matte shade, but i'm really happy with the range of nudes and pinks already in the palette. It was only £15 too which I think is great considering the quality of the eyeshadows.

3. The Body Shop BB Cream in shade #01 - So I don't wear this everyday, I usually just put a fine layer of powder over my face and I'm good to go, but if I want more coverage use this first. I much prefer BB Creams to foundations, I don't like to smother my face in too much product and to be honest I don't often feel like I need the coverage. I don't actually have the full sized version of this product, I'm still working my way through a sample size I picked up in store but I'm sure I will be purchasing the full sized product when this runs out. I usually add a little to my hand and mix in a small amount of moisturizer as I like the glow it gives me. It's usually quite long lasting, it gives a good coverage and I don't feel the need to top up, even after a long day.

So those were my absolute favorite products from last month. I'm hoping to do a full review of the Body Shop face wash in the next couple of weeks because it honestly deserves a whole post dedicated to it. I also want to show you a few makeup looks and 'face of the day' posts using my new L'Oreal Palette, I'm so not sorry if you are bored of looking at it!

Thanks for reading!
